Soprano Nancy Scimone knew from the age of six that singing would be her lifelong passion.  With a mission to share hope and beauty through music, her distinctive vitality and generous stage presence have reached audiences from transcendent cathedrals, Kansas farming communities and the Kennedy Center Concert Hall.

She tours with her original inspirational and sacred music, with over 100 performances in churches throughout North America including tours to Philadelphia, San Francisco Bay area, Chicago, New York, Orlando, Toronto, Washington and Baltimore.   Her original one-woman drama on the life and story of the 20th century Polish mystic Saint Faustina "Messenger of Mercy" has inspired thousands of listeners throughout North America and her inspirational CD recordings reach audiences worldwide.

She has performed in church concerts in Italy, as well as performed opera in Florence and at historic opera houses in other Italian cities, including 'La Priora' in Poulenc's dramatic opera Dialoghi delle Carmelitane (Dialogues of the Carmelites) in Italy with the Montefeltro Festival.

She was the soprano soloist in Handel's Messiah at the John F. Kennedy Center, Washington, DC. She has performed song recitals at the U.S. Botanic Gardens, Anderson House Museum, Lyceum in Alexandria, Virginia, John's Hopkins Art of Healing Series, an all-Bernstein solo concert at Lisner Auditorium, Smithsonian National Zoo galas, and Harmony Hall concerts; in New York City at St. Peter's Concert Series and Church of Our Saviour.  She has been guest soloist with the United States Army Chorus in "An Evening of Poetry and Song" with poet laureate Dana Gioia, and has appeared as vocal soloist at the Embassy of China, the Basilica Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, Alexandria's Athenaeum and the Berklee College of Music (Boston) Concert Hall.  She has performed at the Bar Harbor Maine, Chesapeake SummerArts, and Alexandria music festivals. 

Nancy performs regularly with her special programs designed for memory care, assisted living and senior residents.  Her programs seek to create a respite of comfort and joy.

An accomplished vocalist in music from the era of Great American Songbook, she has sung extensively at historic venues including the Henley Park Hotel, Sofitel, the Ritz Carlton and Chez Francois.
